COVID-19 Update

We were just notified that Zeke is feeling better.  He has had Covid 19 and has not been feeling well since the beginning of December.  His prison has been on lockdown for many months.  We just keep thinking that had Governor Wolf signed off on his application in a timely fashion, Zeke would not have gotten sick at all.  He would be living in a halfway house getting used to freedom.  We are all wondering why this isn’t the case since his hearing was over a year ago.

Health Update

Zeke is feeling unwell.  He is having trouble breathing.  We think they are moving him to the Covid Unit in the prison.  Pretty scary since we continue not to hear from the Governor’s office.  We are all confused.  This is a first in Pennsylvania where a Governor has received a recommendation by the Board of Pardons to commute the sentence of a prisoner and he is not releasing the prisoner.

14 months. Still Waiting

As we wait patiently, we wonder what is wrong. We are now coming up on almost 14 months since the Board of Pardons voted to give Zeke a commutation.  Where is the Governor?

Letters written  have gone unanswered.   What is the problem?
